Kichcha Sudeepa sues producer for Rs. 10 crores on defamation charges : Bollywood News

Earlier it was reported that Kannada producer M N Kumar had sought the help of the court and accused Pan India star Kichcha Sudeepa of cheating. According to a statement given by Kumar, the actor had taken money as remuneration but kept pushing work on Kumar’s film. However, in recent reports, Sudeepa has reacted to this statement and has now filed a suit against the producer for Rs. 10 crores for defaming him and damaging his reputation.

As per current reports, Kichcha Sudeepa has also demanded an unconditional apology from producer M N Kumar along with the whopping amount of Rs. 10 crores for making these comments. On the other hand, M N Kumar is expected to have approached the South Indian Film Chamber regarding his allegations against the Eega star.

In a report to Bangalore Times, M N Kumar was quoted saying, “I have paid him around Rs 9 crore, even paid Rs 10 lakh for the renovation of his kitchen because he asked me to, and additionally paid an advance to director Nanda Kishore and got the title for this film - Muttatti Satyaraju - registered with the film chamber. But now, he has announced a film with a Tamil producer. He had assured me that he would start my film post - Kotigobba 3 and Pailwan, but that did not happen. After that, he pushed it further by saying that he would after Vikrant Rona.”

In the past, Kichcha Sudeepa and producer M N Kumar have collaborated for multiple projects together including Maanikya (2014) and Mukunda Murari (2016). On the work front, Sudeepa has announced his next venture which is currently being referred to as Kichcha46 since the film is yet to receive its title.
