The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR has created history as it bagged an Oscar trophy at the 95th Academy Awards on March 12. However, way before the grand night, Ram Charan and Jr NTR became global celebs with RRR’s success. While the song was being nominated at multiple prestigious award functions, Ram was also shooting for his upcoming film, RC 15, with actress Kiara Advani. Speaking of the same, Kiara recently opened up about Ram Charan’s attitude after RRR’s success and stated that he is “still humble” and that makes him “a star.” This is their second Telugu film together after Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

It all happened during her recent conversation with News 18. Commenting on reuniting with Ram for the upcoming Shankar directorial, Advani asserted, “It’s always lovely working with Ram. He’s a very, very fine actor and an excellent dancer. And this film will see both of us in a very different light.”

She further recalled, “I met him after RRR. We also shot together after the release of the film. He’s still the same. He’s so grounded. He’s a humble and wonderful person. That’s what makes him the star that he is,” while adding that she “would have loved” it if Ram and his wife, Upsana Kamineni Konidela, could have attended her wedding with actor Sidharth Malhotra on February 7 this year.

Talking about the project and working with Shankar, Kiara further added, “It was my dream to be directed by Shankar sir. He’s an incredible director. He creates magic onscreen. The film has been in the making for a while. I resumed shooting this month. There’s a lot in store for us and I’m really excited to show this one to the audience.”

Jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, RC 15 will be a Pan-India release in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Besides Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, it will also star SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Anjali, and Srikanth.
