Hombale Films, the producers of the KGF franchise and the upcoming pan India film Salaar starring Prabhas have announced their next film. The production house will be collaborating with director Sudha Kongara for the next film, which will be based on a true story. Sudha Kongara is popular for the hit Tamil film Soorarai Pottru starring Suriya and Aparna Balamurali.

Hombale Films took to their social media handle on Thursday and wrote, "Some true stories deserve to be told, and told right. We, at Hombale films, are proud to announce our next film with director Sudha Kongara. A story that we are certain will capture India's imagination like all our films have."

Sudha Kongara's last film Soorarai Pottru was also based on a true story. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video in November 2020 and was very well received. She will also be directing the Hindi remake of the film, which will reportedly star Akshay Kumar in the lead.

Meanwhile, Hombale Films is yet to announce further details regarding the film including the subject and the cast of the film.

The production house is all set to bring the stories for the family audience who cater to the largest portion of the masses. It is one of its kind collaboration that will bring content that can be seen and enjoyed with the family.
