Exploring the unique genre of treasure hunt fantasy, Karthikeya 2 won hearts of audiences across the country by releasing in multiple languages. The Nikhil Siddhartha entertainer has now marked a significant milestone by winning the prestigious National Film Award for Best Telugu Film in 2024. Producer Abhishek Agarwal, who is thrilled about receiving this honor especially after already receiving it for The Kashmir Files, has shared his happiness.
Abhishek Agarwal expressed his profound joy and gratitude following on Karthikeya 2 winning the award, as he said, "I am extremely thankful to the viewers and the jury of the National Film Awards. This recognition is not just a win for the film, but for the entire team who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to the screen," he remarked. Agarwal also took a moment to express his deep appreciation for veteran actor Anupam Kher, who made an important special appearance in the film and also added, "The blessings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna continue to be bestowed upon us”.

Meanwhile, actor Nikhil Siddhartha too shared a video expressing his happiness where he spoke in Telugu and appreciated the audience and expressed gratitude towards the jury for choosing the film.

Speaking of Karthikeya 2, the film features and Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady along with Adithya Menon, K. S. Sridhar, Srinivasa Reddy, among others in key roles and revolves around Dr. Karthikeya’s quest to find the lost anklet of Lord Krishna. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film Karthikeya and released on August 13 in multiple languages including Hindi.
