While audiences are eagerly waiting to see Ulaganayakan Kamal Haasan return as the iconic vigilante Senapathy in Indian 2, fans will be excited to know that the actor-producer has announced another interesting venture. Amid rumours that the actor may be reducing his films in order to concentrate on his political career, Kamal Haasan has now put them to rest as he has announced KH233, an untitled film with filmmaker H. Vinoth of Thunivu fame.

The yet to be titled film will mark the 52nd production of Raj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and it is expected to feature an ensemble cast and crew. It is being said that the film promises to be yet another memorable film from the RKFI banner after Vikram. If sources close to the actor are to be believed, Kamal Haasan will be kick starting this film with H Vinoth after he wraps the S Shankar’s Indian 2.

The actor-filmmaker announced about this film last evening as he took to his social media handle to confirm the news with a promo. The movie, which is being referred to KH233 because it marks the 233rd film in Haasan’s career, will be bankrolled by the actor’s production house Raaj Kamal Films International and Turmeric Media. Although not many details are being revealed, going by the glimpse it is being said this will be yet another action entertainer. The film has been given a tagline that reads, ‘Rise To Rule’.

Talking about current projects, Kamal Haasan has brought Indian 2 back on track after the film suffered many delays. This ambitious sequel to 1996 S Shankar’s directorial will star Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. From what we hear, this will be a Pan India venture too and the release date for the same is yet to be finalized.
