Although Jr NTR and Ram Charan have moved on to other projects, RRR continues to make strides internationally and it recently created history by winning at the Oscars 2023. Fans couldn’t be more excited to catch a glimpse of these Telugu stars who have now become global icons. So when Jr NTR returned to Hyderabad, his local fans wanted to rejoice this moment with their favourite superstar. However, with so many fans waiting outside the airport, the massive turnout led to the superstar getting mobbed.

Videos from the airport went viral which featured crowds of people eagerly awaiting the arrival of Jr NTR. The actor landed in Hyderabad last night, and was surprised to see fans waiting for him with flags and posters. As soon as he arrived at the gate to walk towards his car, the mob leaped towards him and even his security found it challenging to control the crowd. As he made his way towards his car, another video, that surfaced online, featured how the crowd started cheering and clapping, showering their love on RRR’s recent achievement.

For the unversed, this year India celebrated two major victories at the Oscars 2023. RRR created history by being the first Indian film to win a major category in the 95th Academy Awards as the film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the award for Best Original Song. On the other hand, Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves’ documentary The Elephant Whisperers won the Oscar for Best Documentary.

RRR featured Jr NTR in the role of Komaram Bheem, a revolutionary who would stop at nothing to save the people of his country who forges an unlikely friendship with Alluri Sitarama Raju aka Ram Charan, an honest and sincere police officer who is on a mission to hunt a revolutionary who started a movement against the British government. Also co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran in pivotal roles, the film is directed by S.S. Rajamouli.
