In a tragic accident, Dasari Gopikrishna, a fan of Jr NTR, was shot and killed in the USA. His death left his family deeply saddened and the fan community in shock. However, the fans have decided to come together to support Dasari 's family, as all of them from across the country have joined hands in solidarity in order to lend financial help to this family of the deceased.

On May 20, during the celebrations Jr NTR’s birthday, the fans clubs had held special screenings of one of his blockbuster movie, Aadi. From these screenings collection the fans decided to contribute Rs. 1 lakh which has been given to Gopi Krishna’s family. The NTR Jr's fans efforts not only gave financial help to Gopi Krishna's family but also showed the power of community support during tough times. The community took to their official social media handle on X, aka Twitter to share a screenshot of the money transfer and also penned a note saying, “We are deeply saddened by the shooting that took the life of Gopi Krishna, a Co-NTR fan. It’s heartbreaking to imagine what the family must be going through. Even though we cannot lessen their grief, we decided to stand by them in a small way. We donated a total of 1 Lakh rupees collected from the special show of #Aadi4k that was screened in Dallas on NTR’s birthday @tarak9999 May his soul rest in peace”

About Dasari Gopikrishna’s demise

The 32-year-old Indian student, who had recently relocated in the USA, worked at the billing desk for a grocery store in Dallas and died after sustaining fatal injuries during a firing incident in the shop.

Jr NTR has always come in support of his fans

Even in the past, Jr NTR has extended his support towards a fan who died by suicide last year. The actor not only shared his condolences to the family but also demanded a thorough investigation in the case after coming across social media messages suspecting foul play.
