The official teaser of the Joju George starrer Pulimada was released and Malayalam stars like Suresh Gopi, Dileep along with South stars Vijay Sethupathi and Asif Ali shared the teaser on their social media pages. The film which has garnered ample anticipation for its title, left the audience even more curious with an intriguing teaser which only gives a sneak peek into Aishwarya Rajesh having a conversation with Joju George.

Speaking of the teaser, it ends in a cliffhanger which has further added to the anticipation about the film. The tag line of the film is Penninte Sugandam which translates to Scent of a Woman. Aishwarya Rajesh and Lijomol will be seen as the leading ladies this Pan India entertainer. The film is expected to begin with the wedding of a police constable Vincent Scaria (Joju George). However, nothing goes as planned and the events that follow brings about a drastic change to his character. The various aspects of his life are presented to the audience through Pulimada and as the title suggests, the director takes the audience through a real tiger's lair.

A.K Sajan, who has given some good Malayalam movies in the past, has written, directed and edited the film. Einstein Zak Paul and Rajesh Damodaran will be producing it under the banner Einstein Media and Land Cinemas. Joju George will be returning with Pulimada after his successful venture Iratta. Interestingly, the famous cinematographer Venu will also be handling the camera after a gap of ten years. It is being said that Pulimada is mounted on a big budget with it being shot for 60 days in a continuous schedule and it is also expected to have a huge star cast.

After the super hit Tamil film Jai Bheem, Lijomol will be seen playing another important role in this film. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Balachandra Menon, Chemban Vinod, Johnny Antony, Jafar Idukki, Jio Baby, Abu Salim, Sona Nair, Krishna Prabha, Pauly wilson, Shibila etc.
