Bollywood Hungama is in Hyderabad for the teaser launch of Prabhas-starrer The RajaSaab. The event took place at Prasads Multiplex’s sprawling PCX screen and then the mediapersons were taken to People Media Factory Studio where the set of The RajaSaab is put up. In today’s times, it’s rare for journalists to be allowed a set visit as many prefer to keep the set under wraps, fearing a leak. But the producers of this horror comedy chose to be an exception. On top of it, the set is something never seen before.
The set is that of Sanjay Dutt’s spooky mansion in the film. Often, filmmakers prefer to make smaller sets when it comes to showing mansions. But the makers of The RajaSaab made a haveli from scratch with multiple rooms, a large drawing room, dining area, etc. To go with the mood of the film, some rooms are terrifying. In one dark room, a statue of a man lying upside down in a well can be seen. The perimeter of the occult room was lit with fire.

A fully stacked library and kitchen along with vast portraits of Sanjay Dutt gave an impression that the veteran and his family still reside in the mansion.
Yesterday, it was reported that the set is of 41,256 square feet and that it is the largest horror set ever created in Indian cinema. But producer T G Vishwa Prasad told this writer that the set of just the haveli in the studio takes a space of almost 35,000 sq feet and that is the largest indoor set in the world! He said, “No other set has such a sprawling floor.”

The producer, who recently also made the Sunny Deol starrer Jaat (2025), explained that he didn’t shoot in a real haveli as that would have added to the costs.

T G Vishwa Prasad and director Maruthi also revealed that the haveli is just a part of the set. A few more sets also existed but media was not given access to it. They also exulted that 1200 workers worked tirelessly to finish the set in 4 months.
