Actor Kamal Haasan's 69th birthday was celebrated by his fans all over the world, including his elder daughter and actress Shruti Haasan. On his special day, Shruti took to social media to share a heartwarming post cherishing the bond between the two of them.
Shruti uploaded a post that was a mix of photographs and videos of the happy memories the father-daughter duo share. In the post, Kamal, who turned 69 on Tuesday, is seen singing, dancing, and joking around with Shruti at various different occasions. Shruti also posted a black-and-white childhood photograph of Kamal, much to the joy of his fans.
In the caption, Shruti expressed how Kamal excels at everything and is a great father. An excerpt of it read, “My dearest Appa @ikamalhaasan HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!! You are a rare heart and mind full of love and ideas that you share so generously with the world. You are the best singing, dancing, poetry writing, and joking and laughing like crazy friend and father any girl could ask for.”

In addition to this, recently, the title of Kamal’s much-awaited film with filmmaker Mani Ratnam was announced. Earlier tentatively titled KH234, the film's name was announced as Thug Life. In the title announcement video, Kamal is seen in a shabby appearance.
Other actors who are part of the film include Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi. Besides this, the teaser of his much-awaited film Indian 2 was also released a few days back. He will also be seen in Kalki 2898 AD, which co-stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan. While the first look of others has been revealed, the glimpse of Kamal, who will be playing a negative role, is still under wraps.
