Hansika Motwani recently featured in the docu-drama based on her wedding with businessman Sohail Khaturiya. Despite her recent marriage, the actress has jumped onto her busy work schedule and has been fulfilling her work commitments. Now, it has been revealed that the actress has finished shooting for the last schedule of director Igore’s film MAN in Chennai.
The film is said to be a woman-centric thriller that talks about violence against women and the difficulties that they have been subjected to. Hansika plays a strong ,independent and empowered fashion designer in the film. A source close to the film revealed that the shoot was very challenging because of the hot climate in Tamil Nadu. As for Hansika, it is being said that the actress will be presented in a new look which is expected to be quite fierce.
Speaking on the wrap of the film Hansika Motwani said, "As Man is comes to an end, I must say this journey wasn’t very easy, but it was definitely worth it. My character in the movie has many layers and it was one of an experience to play such a strong female character. I can’t wait for the audience to see me as Nirmala. This movie is truely very special to me."
Directed by Igore, the film was shot extensively in Chennai, Pollachi and Madurai. The female centric thriller also features Janani Durga and Soumika with Aari Arjunan playing the role of the antagonist in the movie. The music is composed by Ghibran and the cinematography is done by Mani.
