FIRST LOOK: Thalapathy 67 gets titled as Leo; makers unveil the teaser of the Vijay starrer : Bollywood News

Thalapathy 67 has been in news for quite some time now considering it is bringing together the much acclaimed Lokesh Kanagaraj of Vikram fame and Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay together. While the film was tentatively titled based on it being the 67th film of the megastar, now it seems that the makers have locked the title as Leo along with the release date of the film. They announced the details about the Trisha Krishnan starrer with a teaser video.

Readers would be aware that Thalapathy 67 aka Leo is special in many ways. While the film marks the reunion of Trisha Krishnan and Vijay after 14 years, it is also expected to feature some Lokesh Kanagaraj style of action which will definitely be a treat for action lovers. The film is expected to release on October 19, 2023 and recently the makers also unveiled a glimpse of Vijay as Leo.

The recently released teaser on YouTube showcases two distinct setups, one where Vijay is making a sword and the other where he is seen making chocolates, as they metaphorically showcase the similarities between the two processes. The said glimpses also feature a major Vikram vibe and you are left reminiscent of the Kamal Haasan starrer teaser where he is setting up a dining table in a farmhouse, miles away from any kind of human habitat.

Coming to Leo, recently another video that has been doing the rounds on social media is where Vijay and the rest of the team are seen taking off on a private jet to Kashmir where they will be shooting a major portion of the film.

Along with Trisha Krishnan and Thalapathy Vijay, Leo will also star Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, among others in pivotal roles. The film will be releasing on October 19 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
