Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Ritika Singh, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, and Manju Warrier. Initially announced as Thalaivar 170 in March 2023, marking Rajinikanth’s 170th film, Vettaiyan is based on a true incident.

Filming for Vettaiyan took place across a variety of locations in India, including Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirunelveli. With the shooting phase now complete, the film is scheduled for October 10.
