EXCLUSIVE: Dulquer Salmaan confirms reshooting the climax of King of Kotha; watch : Bollywood News

South actor Dulquer Salmaan is all geared up to grace the silver screen with his upcoming big-budget mass entertainer, King of Kotha. Produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios, the movie has already created a buzz with its first teaser release on June 28, presented in four languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

Directed by Abhilash Joshi, King of Kotha boasts a stellar star lineup alongside Dulquer Salmaan, including Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Sudhi Koppa, and Anikha Surendran. It marks Zee Studios' first venture into the Malayalam film industry, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.

Recently, the filmmakers took a bold step to ensure the movie's perfection. Despite shooting the climax in May, the team had decided to reshoot it, as they were determined to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience. Cinematographer Arvind Kashyap and Mahesh Mathew, renowned for their expertise in action sequences, were brought in to film the climax.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, Dulquer Salmaan expressed his dedication to producing films that receive the utmost care and attention. He said, “I actually started production because of I wanted to take care of my films and make sure they are given everything they need or what they deserve. Many a times when I was starting out whatever I've seen, films suffer maybe because of production or some department or whatever. So now as an actor-producer, I want to give it everything.”

Confirming the reshoot of climax, Dulquer further added, “We did reshoot the climax, but it's not because there was anything problematic. I think when you watch the film in a flow, it may be warranted something even bigger.”

King of Kotha intricately weaves the tale of two eras, promising a captivating storyline and compelling performances. With Nimish Ravi's cinematography, Abhilash N Chandran's script, and Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman’s music, the film promises to be an entertaining affair.
