The soon-to-be-released movie King of Kotha starring Dulquer Salmaan has created a unique promotional strategy wherein the Malayalam actor has landed right in the midst of New York City. In their recent strategy, King of Kotha trailer was featured in one of the biggest and most renowned locations of the world, the plush area of Times Square in New York City, USA. In a landmark decision, this has become the first of its kind Malayalam film to have used this promotional technique.

In a video shared by the man of the hour, Dulquer Salmaan himself gave audiences a glimpse of how Times Square was lit up with Dulquer's magic as fans excitedly got a sneak peek into the world of this King. But wait, there's more! Besides Dulquer’s unique avatar, the film also takes the audiences through a glimpse of other important characters in the film essayed by popular stars like Aishwarya Lakshmi, Shabir Kallarakkal, and Prasanna.

Sharing it on his social media, Dulquer also expressed his emotions in the caption saying, “Cannot contain my excitement. “King of Kotha” has become the first Malayalam film to have its trailer played at New York City’s Times Square. Having visited the busy and vibrant Time’s Square several times, never even dreamed of appearing on the screens there. Big moment for me personally and the biggest tribute we can give to Malayalam Cinema.”

Produced by Zee Studios and Wayfarer Films, King of Kotha boasts of an innovative narrative which is expected to give audiences an experience that's larger than life. Exploring yet another unique character, Dulquer marks his return to Malayalam cinema after two years. The film is expected to be a Pan India action entertainer which will release on August 25 in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi.
