The trailer of Dude, the upcoming romantic drama directed by Keerthiswaran, was unveiled on Thursday and has already caught the internet’s attention. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, and Sarathkumar in lead roles, the film is set to release in theatres this Diwali, on October 17, 2025.

Dude Trailer: A Tale of Transformation and Love
The trailer opens with Agan (Pradeep Ranganathan), a young man whom his father (played by Sarathkumar) calls a “good-for-nothing.” Despite this, Kural (Mamitha Baiju) expresses her wish to be Agan’s assistant. Her presence begins to transform his life—prompting him to swap cigarettes for chocolates and pushing him out of his comfort zone.

Agan soon falls for Kural, only to be met with heartbreak as she tells him, “The concept of love won’t work out between us.” As the story unfolds, the trailer hints at Agan’s emotional spiral, featuring moments of intensity, humour, and even a brief appearance by Neha Shetty. It ends on a poignant note, with Kural asking, “Devdas sir, why did you do all this?” followed by Agan’s silent, emotional smile—leaving fans eager to know what happens next.

The trailer sparked positive reactions across social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, where fans praised its emotional beats and visuals. One user wrote, “Semma Cut!
