Indian actor Dhanush is all set to star in Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Sir, also titled Vaathi. Samyuktha is the leading lady. The film will be directed by Venky Atluri and the announcement was made on December 23 along with a title reveal video. The mahurat puja followed by shooting commenced this past week. Now, the actor has unveiled the first look.

The Asuran actor took to his Twitter on Saturday to share the first look and wrote, “With a lot of passion, heart, and faith…’Vaathi’…’Sir’…Shooting in progress." The poster shows the actor standing in tailored pants and a half-sleeved blue shirt with his back facing the camera.

Sir will revolve around the current education system of the country. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music and background score. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas will bankroll the project.
