Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna starrer D51 to be shot in Mumbai and Cochin: Report : Bollywood News

Pan-Indian star Dhanush and ‘Srivalli’ Rashmika Mandanna are all set to come together for a trilingual and fans couldn’t be more excited about it. The untitled venture, which is currently being referred to as D51, is all set to go on floors next year and we hear that the film will be going on floors in Mumbai and Cochin.

As per current reports, it is being said that Dhanush and the team will be kicking off the shoot of D51 in the first half of 2024 in the cities of Mumbai and Cochin. While the exact details of the film are currently being kept under wraps, reports have it that the untitled venture will be set against a political backdrop and it is also being said that the film is inspired by real events. With music by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, it is expected to be directed by Sekhar Kammula.

The anticipation around the film has been an all-time high with the collaboration of not just the director-actor duo but also because of the star cast which not only includes Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady but it also features superstar Nagarjuna in a pivotal role. Fans of Dhanush are excited to watch their favourite star sharing screen space with this cast and couldn’t stop expressing their excitement ever since the film was announced around the actor’s birthday in July this year. The release date and other details are currently being kept under wraps. However, the makers have maintained that D51 will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Speaking about his forthcoming films, Dhanush is currently gearing up for the release of his period drama Captain Miller which is slated for release on December 15. Besides that, the actor also has his untitled film D50 which is expected to be produced by the actor himself.
