Kantara is a film intended for pure mass entertainment but made with all the heart. The Sandalwood industry has peaked with an epic tale. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Music by B Ajaneesh Loknath.

Kantara has secured the highest IMDB rating of 9.6, setting a record for Indian films. The film surpasses Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 (8.4) and the SS Rajamouli-directed RRR (8).
