Sivakarthikeyan will be teaming up with director AR Murugadoss for the upcoming action thriller Dil Madharasi. This will be their first collaboration. Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Amaran, while Murugadoss is known for his work in several successful films. Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, the film is expected to be a big-screen entertainer. On the occasion of Tamil New Year, the makers revealed the film’s release date.

The recently unveiled title glimpse has created curiosity around the film and what it has in store. Sivakarthikeyan is set to appear in a more intense action role this time. The film’s cinematography is by Sudeep Elamon, while the music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Known for his debut with “Why This Kolaveri Di,” Anirudh has since worked on several major films in recent years, including Beast, Vikram, Jailer, Jawan, Leo, and Indian 2.
AR Murugadoss is a well-known director, particularly noted for his action films that often touch on social themes. His notable works include Ghajini, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Kaththi, among others.
Anirudh Ravichander is a well renowned music composer and playback singer who works primarily in Tamil cinema, in addition to Telugu and Hindi films.
Dil Madharasi directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, features Rukmini Vasanth in the lead, along with Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabeer, and Vikranth. The film’s technical crew includes editor Sreekar Prasad and action choreographers Kevin and Dhilip Masters. Dil Madharasi is set to release on 5th September 2025.
