American actor Kyle Paul recently opened up about his experience of working on upcoming action thriller, Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-ups, starring Yash in the lead. Playing a supporting role in the film, Paul described it as "the best experience I ever had on set." He also spoke about the challenges of learning Kannada for an emotionally intense scene and how it pushed him as an actor.

"I just had a really good experience on a movie set here in India," Paul said. "I'm filming a movie called Toxic, and it's like 3 AM. For this scene, I needed to deliver highly emotional dialogue in Kannada, a language I barely understand. Balancing that level of emotion while trying to be logically precise with the words was incredibly challenging. It just wasn’t working in my head—I couldn't maintain such a high emotional state while focusing on the language."

Paul credited director Geetu Mohandas for her support during the difficult scene. "The director—her name is Geetu—is absolutely wonderful. The whole time I was struggling, she kept encouraging me, saying, 'You got this!' and 'Take your time, we’re here for you.' That support made all the difference. It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had on set."

Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-ups is an ambitious action thriller that aims to present Kannada cinema on a global stage. The film is notable for being conceptualized, written, and filmed in both English and Kannada, serving as a bridge between Indian storytelling and international audiences. To further extend its reach, the film will also be dubbed in multiple Indian and international languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film is expected to feature an extensive star cast that also includes Nayanthara, alongside Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Darrell D'Silva, and Akshay Oberoi.
