Allu Arjun is currently awaiting the release of the much anticipated pan India film Pushpa also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Ahead of the release of the film on December 17, a greet-and-meet event was organized at N-Convention center in Cyberabad on Monday. While the arrangement was made for 200 people, a huge crowd turned up for the event. Unable to manage the large crowd, the organizers were forced to cancel the event which led to fans protesting the decision.
An irked fan damaged some property at the event venue. Some fans also got injured during the protest. Addressing the incident, Allu Arjun took to his social media handle and wrote, "I got to know about the unfortunate incident of my fans getting injured at a fan meet event today. My team is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated. Henceforth, I will take a lot of care to ensure that such incidents don't happen again. Your love and admiration are my biggest asset and I am never going to take them for granted."

The police had to intervene to control the crowd and also filed a case against the event organizers.
Meanwhile, a case was filed against Mythri Movie Makers under 143 (Punishment for unlawful assembly), 341(Punishment for wrongful restraint), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 290 (Punishment for public nuisance) of IPC after a pre-release event organized by them witnessed a gathering of over 15000 people against the permitted 5000 guests on Sunday.
