Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), has broken multiple box office records. The film earned ₹72 Crores on Day 1, making it the highest opener in Hindi cinema. In just 48 hours, it recorded a worldwide opening of ₹449 Crores.

The cast and crew of Pushpa 2 celebrated the film's success at the Radisson Blu in Hyderabad. Icon star Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and the producers expressed their excitement over the film's impressive box office numbers.

Allu Arjun said, “Firstly, I'd like to thank, once again, I'd like to thank the entire country for showing so much love. if we put aside the number, the most important thing is that the number is just a reflection of the amount of people who have come on the first day to show their love. I mean, this Pushpa, we like this Pushpa brand so much, we like this Pushpa characterization, this movie so much, it's the love of the people which is priceless. Nobody can put a number to that. The love is priceless. Thank you, thank you for showing so much love on us. It means the world to us to be in such a big state from where we start from. We are a simple, small, regional industry.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule sees Allu Arjun reprise his role as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna return as Srivalli, and Fahadh Faasil once again play the role of cop Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Pushpa’s nemesis.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with music by T-Series.
