Yoo Ah In’s residence gets search and seizure from Police as they find additional evidence amid drugs investigation

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit has reportedly raided the Hannam-dong residence of actor Yoo Ah In amid his ongoing drugs investigation.

According to the Allkpop tabloid, after the searches concluded, police found additional evidence but did not disclose the details of the confiscated items. The police are expected to summon Yoo Ah In as a suspect this month at the earliest after analyzing the evidence.

“We searched two places registered as Yoo Ah In’s home after obtaining a search and seizure warrant,” a police official said in a statement. Meanwhile, during the press conference in Seoul, an official from the National Police Agency shared, “The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has conducted a comprehensive investigation. We are expected to summon the suspect to investigate him further."

The actor is currently under investigation for habitual use of substances, including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine. Police began investigating against him last month and also performed a search and seizure of various doctor’s offices and clinics that were suspected of having illegally administered the drug to Yoo Ah In since 2021.

During the investigation, it was also revealed that he administered propofol in an amount exceeding 4400 ml on 73 occasions in 2021 and approximately 30 times in 2022.
