Yoo Ah In continues to shoot amid ongoing drug use investigation - reports

Hellbound actor Yoo Ah In, who is currently being investigated for the illegal use of propofol, was reportedly left for Jeju to shoot an advertisement after he was questioned by the police. As per multiple Korean media outlets, the actor – who returned from the USA on February 5 – flew to Jeju Island the following day after being detained at the airport for illegal drug use. The investigation into his propofol usage reportedly continued on February 6.

Despite the ongoing investigation, Yoo Ah In apparently participated in a shoot for an outdoor brand in Jeju, which the brand has confirmed. In response to such reports, an official from Yoo Ah In’s agency shared, as per KBIZoom tabloid, “We cannot confirm anything at the moment”.

Meanwhile, the outdoor clothing brand stated, “We know that the advertisement was filmed before the issue related to Yoo Ah In was reported for the first time.” As the investigation into Yoo Ah In's unauthorized use of propofol proceeds, it was earlier disclosed that he tested positive for marijuana usage in a urine sample, with the results of the hair follicle test pending.

As previously reported by the Korean tabloid Soompi, the police also performed a search and seizure of various doctor’s offices and clinics in Seoul’s Gangnam and Yongsan districts on February 8 and 9. The clinics were searched as they were suspected of providing propofol to Yoo Ah In since early 2021.
