TOMORROW X TOGETHER (SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI) triumphantly concluded the US leg of their third world tour, "TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR" (ACT : PROMISE), proving their continued upward trajectory. The group mesmerized a staggering 1,40,000 fans over 11 enthralling shows, spanning 8 cities: May 14 in Tacoma, May 18 in Oakland, May 21 & 22 in Los Angeles, May 26 in Houston, May 29 in Atlanta, June 1 & 2 in New York, June 5 & 6 in Rosemont, and June 8 in Washington, DC.
The visual storytellers brought their signature storytelling brilliance to life through their performances, weaving the intricate narratives of their discography into the setlist to heighten the show's immersive experience. A standout moment was when the quintet took the stage donning hanbok—the traditional Korean attire—for the reimagined traditional Korean music rendition of the alternative pop dance track 'Sugar Rush Ride', which captivated worldwide fans.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER showcased their rebellious rock star charisma in the drum-smashing and guitar-dropping performance of 'Growing Pain', while the unit performances, including the alluring 'The KILLA (I Belong to You)' by SOOBIN and YEONJUN and the youthfully energetic 'Quarter Life' by BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI, offered a contrasting visual spectacle. The US leg of the tour also featured the lively 'Cat & Dog' (English ver.), known for its catchy melody and playful fan chants, which generated unprecedented cheers and sing-alongs from the audience.
In addition to dynamic performances of their colourful discography, TOMORROW X TOGETHER also incorporated snippets of pop-rock classics, such as Sting's 'English Man in New York' and Queen's 'We Will Rock You'. The quintet further engaged the US audience by wearing jackets of local sports teams such as the NHL's New York Rangers and the NBA's Chicago Bulls, establishing a stronger connection with each city’s fans.
ACT: PROMISE in the US garnered widespread attention since its announcement, promising a grander scale compared to its predecessor ACT: SWEET MIRAGE. Continuing from last year’s US stadium debut, Gen Z’s leading band headlined Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and Houston's Minute Maid Park, becoming the first K-pop artist to perform at each venue. They also set another career-defining record by becoming the first K-pop band to sell out two consecutive headlining shows at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden, underscoring TOMORROW X TOGETHER's growing influence in the global scene.
As the tour came to an end, TOMORROW X TOGETHER expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their fans, MOA. "The past month went by in a glimpse. Upon starting the tour, we had worries since our visits to the US are rare and we were presenting whole new performances, but seeing you dance and sing along with every song brought us immense joy. We've realized once again that our happiness stems from MOA. We are committed to working even harder to become artists that MOA can be proud of. ACT: PROMISE will now make its way to Japan for 8 shows across 4 cities, marking TOMORROW X TOGETHER's debut dome tour in Japan.
