The first half of the year promises 15 series and one feature-length film.

Thailand’s top content provider GMMTV, under The One Enterprise or “onee,” just held its annual press event to reveal all their newest projects at the GMMTV 2024 UP & ABOVE PART 1. The first half of the year promises 15 series and one feature-length film that will hit the big screen. For this event, GMMTV’s managing director Mr. Sataporn Panichraksapong was there to welcome the press, business allies, and exciting fans at Union Hall in Thailand.

To kick-start the event, the five members of LYKN shook the entire stage with their powerful performance of the song “Umm Umm.” After the show, the two hosts Pompam Niti and Leo Saussay welcomed the man at the helm  Sataporn Panichraksapong up on stage to talk about the success of GMMTV at meeting the demands of people from all walks of life when it comes to entertainment, as well as to discuss the goal of the company to grow sustainably in both the domestic and international markets.

The various projects for the first half of 2024 were then revealed, starting with the introduction of the current “rangers” of the long-running reality show School Rangers. The 16 rangers now include Nicky Nachat, Leo Saussay, Arm Weerayut, Joong Archen, Dunk Natachai, First Kanaphan, Khaotung Thanawat, Force Jiratchapong, Book Kasidet, Neo Trai, Mark Pakin, Winny Thanawin, Satang Kittiphop, Drake Sattabut, AJ Chayapol, and JJ Chayakorn. All the actors excitedly talked about their final mission that could take place right.

The teaser trailer of the much-talked-about film The Interest was unveiled at the event. The film stars two of Thailand's top stars Bright Vachirawit and Yaya Urassaya in the respective roles of a good-looking thug who collects money for a shark loan and a woman who’s paying off the debt for her sick father. Things get complicated when something that could be love blossoms between the unlikely duo. The film is to be directed by Waashuthep Ketpetch.

Next on the lineup was the teaser trailer for My Precious: The Series, a TV series adaptation of the romantic film of the same name. And even though some details will be added to the story, rest assured that all the feelings and memories of your first love and teenhood will still make you blush and hit your heart right where it throbs all the same. Nanon Korapat and Film Rachanun reprise their roles in this series, alongside the original cast members of Ohm Pawat, Chimon Wachirawit, Neo Trai, Euro Thanaset, and View Benyapa. Por-Napat Jitweerapat and Fon-Kanittha Kwunyoo, the directors behind the success of the film, will also reprise their titles as directors.

After that, it was time to reveal the brand new series of 2024, and first on the list was the series Ploy’s Yearbook, starring Namtan Tipnaree, Film Rachanun, Aye Sarunchana, Jamie Juthapich, Earth Pirapat, Toy Pathompong, Jimmy Jitaraphol, Joong Archen, Papang Phromphiriya, Kapook Ploynira, June Wanwimol, Piploy Kanyarat, Thor Thinnaphan, and Na Thanaboon. Directed by the Snap25 Team, this series tells the love story of five girls who refuse to give in to their fates.

The next in the lineup was sure to give you all the feels. We Are is a messy story about the love life of a group of best friends in college. Starring Pond Naravit, Phuwin Phuwin, Winny Thanawin, Satang Kittiphop, Aou Thanaboon, Boom Tharatorn, Marc Pahun, Tee Teeradech, Pepper Phanuroj, and Godji Tachakorn, it will be directed by the wonderful New-Siwaj Sawatmaneekul.

Next up on the list was The Trainee, a story about heartwarming love between two assistant directors that stars Off Jumpol, Gun Atthaphan, Sea Tawinan, Poon Mitpakdee, Piploy Kanyarat, Kapook Ploynira, View Benyapa, Emi Thasorn, and Pompam Niti. The series is set to be directed by Nat-Thachai Komolpetch and Sasinan Pattana.

Following suit was the teen series Only Boo! which stars newcomers like Sea Dechchart and Keen Suvijak, along with Louis Thanawin, Ashi Peerakarn, Aun Napat, Book Kasidet, and Milk Pansa. Directed by Golf-Sakon Wongsinwiset, it is a story of young love that just feels so good.

Get a taste of something new with the next series in the lineup, Pluto. It tells the story of a girl who has no choice but to lie in order to be with the one she loves.  The team will star Namtan Tipnaree, Film Rachanun, Kapook Ploynira, Ciize Rutricha, Earn Preeyaphat, Arm Weerayut, and Guy Sivakorn.

Hold on to your seat, and get a little spooky with the next series Peaceful Property. This romantic comedy stars Tay Tawan, New Thitipoom, Mook Worranit, and Jan Ployshompoo, and is directed by Dome-Jarupat Kannula.

Next up was Earth Pirapat and Mix Sahaphap who take the lead roles in the remake of the sensational hit Ossan’s Love, to be directed by Au-Kornprom Niyomsil.

Marking the halfway point of the event was the amazing performance by Krist Perawat, who sang his heart out in the song “Siang-Jak-Dao-Pluto.” It gave us a beautiful glimpse into what else is in store for his upcoming first ever solo concert, The Krist Elements Concert. After the show, it was then revealed that there will be a fan festival, the biggest of its kind, LOVE OUT LOUD FAN FEST 2024, where nine of your favorite duos will be there: Earth Pirapat and Mix Sahaphap, First Kanaphan and Khaotung Thanawat, Pond Naravit and Phuwin Phuwin, Joong Archen and Dunk Natachai, Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan, Force Jiratchapong and Book Kasidet, Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat, Perth Tanapon and Chimon Wachirawit, and lastly Winny Thanawin and Satang Kittiphop. Then another performance broke out, and this time it was Nanon Korapat who performed the medley of his songs “Please Try Again,” “Knock Knock,” and “Unidentified Wonder.” This show was fitting for the reveal of his upcoming full-force concert called Nanon Born To Beo Concert.

The surprise didn’t end there when Win Metawin performed “One More Chance” and “10 Years Later” to announce his own concert, Win Holidate Fan Con. Needless to say, the hall was abuzz with excited screams all over. The event then fell back into its rhythm and more series lineups were introduced.

Next up is My Golden Blood, which tells the story of a 151-year-old vampire who’s had a taste of the ever-irresistible golden blood. Starring in the lead roles are Joss Way-ar and Fluke Gawin, joined by Neo Trai and Junior Panachai. It is to be directed by Arc-Saroj Kunatanad.

Next in the lineup was Kidnap, starring Ohm Pawat, Leng Thanaphon, Ohm Thipakorn, Papang Phromphririya, and Title Kirati. Directed by the talented Noom-Attaporn Theemakorn, this romantic story will make you swoon so bad it keeps you up at night.

Summer Night, a series set to be directed by Captain-Rawiphon Hong-ngam, followed suit in the lineup, and it got a lot of fans’ attention with its cast members that include Phuwin Phuwin, Dunk Natachai, Parn Nachcha, Lookjun Bhasidi, Bimbeam Praekwan, Jaoying Krongkwan, Ryu Phudtripart, and Java Bhobdhama.

Roaring screams suddenly filled the hall with the introduction of the steamy series Wandee Goodday, a story of a hard-to-please doctor and a god-bod boxer. What grabbed everyone’s attention was the cast members including Great Sapol, Inn Sarin, Fluke Nattanon, Thor Thinnaphan, Ploy Phatchatorn, Pod Suphakorn, and Drake Sattabut. And when it’s set to be directed by Golf-Tanwarin Sukkhapisit, you know it won’t be a miss.

The next one on the list was High School Frenemy, a story of friendship and survival in a mysterious high school full of tension that stars Sky Wongravee, Nani Hirunkit, Kay Lertsittichai, Mark Pakin, Bonnie Pussarasorn, AJ Chayapol, JJ Chayakorn, Prom Teepakron, View Benyapa, June Wanwimol, Earn Preeyaphat, Mark Jiruntanin, and Est Supha. This is another series to be directed by the amazing director Fon-Kanittha Kwunyoo. These roles are also Inn’s and Sky’s debut acting as artists under GMMTV.

The hall was buzzing once again with the introduction of the romantic comedy My Love Mix-Up! Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat will star alongside each other once more, and be joined by Chokun Puttipong and Pahn Pathitta. This adorable high school love story is another masterpiece by the wonderful director Au-Kornprom Niyomsil.

Last but definitely not least in the lineup was none other than the much-anticipated sequel of the thriller piece Enigma, in Enigma 2 Flora Vespoidea. Win Metawin is back to reprise his role as the cool occult specialist and will be joined by the sensational veteran actor Toey Jarinporn. O-Patha Thongpan sits once again in his director’s chair, and this time will take you behind the curtains of the alluring world of showbiz, which may hide a little dark secret that involves something supernatural beyond your imagination.
