With the recent news of South Korean actor Song Joong Ki dating a “non-celebrity from England,” fans have put on their detective glasses to find out who the girlfriend is. Many fans have deduced over the internet that the actor’s girlfriend is former actress Katy Louise Saunders. While Song Joong Ki's agency neither denied nor confirmed Song Joong Ki's girlfriend's identity, fans stand firm that the Vincenzo actor is in fact in a relationship with Katy Louise Saunders.
In fact, many fans went into frenzy after they noticed that Song Joong Ki had previously mentioned the name "Katy" earlier in September in an award function. The actor attended the APAN Star Awards this year where he was awarded for his performance in Vincenzo.
During his acceptance speech, he went on to thank his family and others he had worked with. Towards the end, he also said "And my beloved Katy, Nalla, Maya, Antes. All of our friends who blessed us. I want to say, I sincerely love you." Most recently, the couple were also spotted attending weddings together, pictures of which surfaced online.

As Allkpop cites, many are certain that Song Joong Ki is dating Katy Louise Saunders after she became his language tutor him during Vincenzo. According to the character's profile, Vincenzo Cassano graduated from Bocconi University in Italy, which is Katy Louise Saunders' alma mater.
As per some reports, Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders met each other when Song Joong Ki took Italian lessons from the former actress to prepare for his role in Vincenzo.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki was previously married to his Descendants of The Sun co-star Song Hye Kyo. The couple tied the knot in October 2017 and parted ways two years later. Their divorce was finalized in July 2019.
