Song Hye Kyo’s The Glory ranks No. 3 on Netflix non-English TV show chart

South Korean original The Glory starring Song Hye Kyo ranked third on the Netflix’s weekly viewership chart under non-English TV shows category released Wednesday. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the thriller series which features Song Hye Kyo as the revenge-driven leading lady, was watched for 25.4 million hours around the world during the week starting December 26.

Meanwhile, No. 1 and 2 spots were taken by the second and first seasons of the Japanese drama series Alice in Borderland, which garnered 74.3 million hours and 30.2 million hours, respectively.

The Glory follows “a young woman, bullied to the point of deciding to drop out of school, plans the best way to get revenge. After becoming a primary school teacher, she takes in the son of the man who tormented her the most to enact her vengeance.” The story comes from Descendants of the Sun writer Kim Eun Sook.
