Selena Gomez is defending Hailey Bieber amid their long running feud as the latter had reached out to her and told her about the death threats she has been receiving.

On Friday, the ‘My Mind And Me’ singer took a stand for Bieber while the internet has been spiraling over the stars' alleged feud over Justin Bieber. Gomez took to her Instagram Story to share that Hailey reached out to her regarding the death threats she’s been receiving over the feud.

In a request to her fans, Gomez urged them to refrain from negative behavior and bullying, emphasizing that it goes against her principles. “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negatively,” Selena wrote.

“This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.” Following the post, fans also noticed that Selena started following Hailey on Instagram again. Earlier this month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Hailey and Justin were trying to avoid the drama.

“Hailey and Justin are doing fine. They don't want to continually deal with this repetitive, ongoing former relationship drama,” the source said. “They are just taking things day by day and don’t want this to be something that impacts them negatively. Justin knows that speaking publicly about it will only amplify the situation and bring more attention to it, so they have been supporting each other privately.”

Rumors of a feud between Hailey and Selena surfaced after a TikTok video surfaced showed Hailey pretending to gag at the mention of Selena’s dear friend Taylor Swift, prompting the ‘Back To You’ singer to come to her friend's defense. In another incident, fans accused Hailey and Kylie Jenner of mocking Selena's eyebrows, which Kylie denied and Selena publicly commended her for.
