Super Bowl, in U.S. professional gridiron football, the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), is played by the winners of the league’s American Football Conference and National Football Conference each January or February. The game is hosted by a different city each year. Fans have been anticipating the Super Bowl 2023 for a while and the reason for it was not the game at all, to begin with. After what felt like an eternity of having to watch Rihanna sing live, she revealed that she will be making an appearance at the Super Bowl. Fans of Rihanna only saw a Rihanna concert that was cut short by a football game.

The thrill of the Super Bowl halftime show began as soon as Rihanna made her dramatic entrance, giving her supporters two reasons to celebrate. As she made her airborne entrance in classic Beyonce style while wearing a red outfit, Rihanna revealed that she is expecting her second child. At the Super Bowl halftime show, Rihanna made her return to the live stage in a custom boiler suit by British designer Jonathan Anderson, complete with a crimson bodysuit and breastplate. Three antique diamond brooches from Joseph Saidian & Sons were used as accessories for the boiler suit. A pair of low-top shoes from the MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon collaboration were also worn by Rihanna.

She changed into a floor-length puffer coat and matching gloves from Alaia halfway through the performance. As Rihanna donned a crimson watch with an encrusted bezel, her Messika diamonds shone brightly. The singer has previously sported Loewe Paula's Ibiza sunglasses, but she has never been in public wearing a whole ready-to-wear outfit line other than for editorial photo shoots.

For her fans, Rihanna looked red-y with her traditional makeup, a red lip, a red manicure, and a high-top hair!

The red number seemed to take inspiration from Loewe’s spring 2022 collection which featured a red turtleneck dress with a transparent red bodyplate in the middle of the chest and billowy silhouettes. Rihanna performed at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in front of a global audience estimated to be 100 million.
