Disney+ has officially unveiled the trailer for Jeremey Renner’s four-part, unscripted series Rennervations. Renner, who is passionate about construction and cars, renovates and rebuilds custom-tailored vehicles to help communities in need around the world with the help of some of his global friends!
While Renner’s vehicle-renovation show is set to debut next month, the actor looks pretty pumped for the show which has become a “driving force” in his recovery from a near-fatal snow plowing accident. “I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need,” Renner said in a statement shared by Variety.
“But a few years ago, I thought, ‘How can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community?’ And that’s what this show does,” Renner said before adding, “This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.” Rennervations follows Renner as he travels around the globe with his best friend and business partner, Rory Millikin along with an “all-star build crew.”
A four-part docuseries, the show “embraces Jeremy Renner’s lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.” The globe-trotting series begins in the actor’s hometown of Reno, Nevada and moves to Chicago, Illinois, then Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and eventually Rajasthan, India.
As the outlet states, in each location, Renner and Millikin meet with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, The BASE Chicago, Uva Jagriti Sansthan and Casa Hogar of Cabo San Lucas to learn about the needs of the local, needy communities. Along the way, Renner meets up with different celebrity guests from around the globe who join the Marvel actor to deliver custom-tailored vehicles to each organization.
The celebrity guests include actor-producer Anthony Mackie, actor-entrepreneur Vanessa Hudgens, actor-producer Anil Kapoor and singer-songwriter Sebastián Yatra. Rennervations is produced by Boardwalk Pictures for Disney+. Executive producers include Renner, Rory Millikin, Romilda De Luca, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma and Patrick Costello.
All four episodes of Rennervations debut on Disney+ Hotstar on April 12. Watch the trailer below!
