South Korean superstar Song Joong Ki’s crime drama Reborn Rich at JTBC has achieved a new feat by garnering the second highest viewership ratings in Korean TV history.
According to Korean tabloid Soompi, the latest episode of the Reborn Rich scored an average nationwide rating of 24.9 percent, achieving the second-highest viewership ratings of any cable drama in history. The show has also overtaken SKY Castle, which earned an average nationwide rating of 23.8 percent, to achieve such a milestone.
As the report notes, Song Joong Ki’s thrilling drama is now second only to the smash 2020 hit The World of the Married, which holds the current record for the highest drama ratings in the history of any Korean cable network: a nationwide average of 28.4 percent.
Reborn Rich brings the refreshing tale of revenge with a new reincarnation story as it keeps the audience engaged and interested as mysteries unfold on who ordered to kill Yoon Hyun Woo in the present day. Based on the hit novel Reborn Rich, the drama is written by Kim Tae Hee and directed by Jung Dae Yoon.
