Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently busy with the shoot for her upcoming action film, Heads of State, where she'll star alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. Although details about the plot have been kept tightly under wraps, filming for the project commenced in May 2023. The movie will be directed by Ilya Naishuller and produced by Peter Safran and John Rickard of The Safran Company.

Chopra Jonas has also been sharing glimpses of the demanding filming process on her social media. A behind-the-scenes photo showed her sporting injuries on her face, hinting at the film's action-packed nature. The actress sustained these minor injuries during the second leg of filming, and she took to Instagram stories to share a photo with the caption, “I wonder how many bloodied-up pictures from work I've posted over the years.”

Chopra Jonas will be performing some high-octane stunts in Heads of State, alongside action stars John Cena and Idris Elba. The film's genre, a comedic action flick, further indicates the injuries might have resulted from stunt work.
