Priyanka Chopra posts a selfie with Richard Madden after world premiere of Citadel in Mumbai: ‘Just Nadia and Mason sharing the love’

The series will premiere on Prime Video starting April 28 with two episodes and then one episode rolling out weekly through May 26.

The lead pair of Prime Video’s upcoming global spy series, Citadel, Richard Madden, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, journeyed to Mumbai for the epic Asia Pacific premiere. The actors walked the blue carpet on Tuesday for the world premiere of the first two episodes of the upcoming Russo Brothers-produced epic series. Following the premiere, the actress took to her Instagram to share a selfie with her co-star.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden were all smiles as they attended the premiere. Sharing the selfie, the actress wrote, “Nothing to see here. Just Nadia and Mason sharing the love after screening Citadel for the first time in mumbai.. @maddenrichard.”

At the premiere, Varun Dhawan and Citadel India directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK were in attendance. Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nora Fatehi, Rakul Preet Singh, Vikramaditya Motwane, Prajakta Koli, Patralekhaa, Sanya Malhotra, Sunny Leone, Anubhav Sinha, Neha Dhupia among others.

Ahead of the premiere, the two of them attended the press conference on Monday and spoke about working in the series. Madden shared his experience of working with Priyanka and said, “I loved working with Priyanka every day because she keeps me present. We both prepare properly before we engage in something. I can overthink things and Priyanka was always great at ringing me right back into the room and being so present and allowing us to really play together. That's kind of in many ways like the characters in the show.”

“We balance each other out beautifully and bring out the best in each other and couldn't ask for a better dancing partner,” the Scottish actor added.

Citadel is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil. Alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, the 6-episode series features Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville in pivotal roles. This thrilling spy series, which takes viewers around the world, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video starting April 28 with two episodes and then one episode rolling out weekly through May 26.
