Priscilla Teaser: Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi star as Priscilla and Elvis Presley as the first glimpse explores their relationship

The first teaser of writer-director Sofia Coppola's upcoming film Priscilla has been unveiled. Euphoria star Jacob Elordi stars as Elvis Presley opposite Cailee Spaeny in the titular role which is an adaptation of Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir “Elvis and Me.”

Elvis Presley has been part of pop culture for decades. He has been part of all forms of media as the King of Rock and Roll. While Austin Bulter’s Elvis saw the journey of the musician, this movie will turn the story to Priscilla and her marriage to the music sensation. The first teaser gives a glimpse of Elvis and Priscilla meeting each other, an exploration of their relationship, their marriage, and more about the love story. The anticipation is high for the music as well.

According to Entertainment Weekly, in her memoir, Presley recounted meeting her former husband, their 1967 marriage, and the factors that led to their divorce in 1973.

In addition to writing and directing the film, Coppola also produces the project alongside Youree Henley, Lorenzo Mieli of The Apartment, a Fremantle Company, and American Zoetrope. The Apartment, a Fremantle Company and Sony’s Stage 6 Films will finance the film.
