Post Barbie, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie to reunite for Ocean’s 11 prequel

Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie are currently seen on the big screen in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. The film had an excellent Opening Weekend of Rs. 21 crores (gross) on 868 screens, which is the widest release for an English version only film. It is Warner Bros’ biggest Opening Weekend for 2023 after The Flash and the third biggest opening weekend for a female-directed Hollywood after Frozen II. As the film will continue to soar on the big screen, the two stars will reunite for the prequel of Ocean’s 11.

The film will be helmed by Austin Powers and Meet the Parents alum Jay Roach. The news was confirmed by the director himself in an interview with AP News. As per the reports, the film will go into production soon and will be set in Monte Carlo in 1962. It will be glamorous. Ocean’s 8 was set at the Met Gala background. The last Ocean’s film (2018’s Ocean’s 8) was set at the Met Gala, for God’s sake.

Margot Robbie and Jay Roach previously worked together on the 2019 news flick Bombshell.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling will next star in the action film The Fall Guy alongside Emily Blunt, which is set in 2024 release.
