Netflix leads 2025 Emmy Nominations with 120 nods across 44 titles

The Television Academy has unveiled the nominations for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, and Netflix celebrates a staggering 120 nominations across 44 titles. The lineup not only reflects the volume of content Netflix delivers but also the extraordinary breadth, range, and depth of storytelling the platform continues to champion globally.

Netflix was recognized in 14 of the 20 program categories, receiving 3 of the 5 Limited Series nominations, and 5 of the 6 Variety Series (Pre-Recorded) nominations—cementing its place across genres, tones, and formats.

At the heart of this recognition is Netflix’s commitment to showcasing bold stories and powerful voices. The list includes Adolescence with 13 nominations, followed closely by Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (11) and Black Mirror (10) which have broken into the Limited Series category, after no longer being able to compete in TV Movie.

Love, Death + Robots also breaks new ground with its first nomination in the main Animated Program category, after previously winning the Short Form Animated Program for its first 3 seasons, while Arcane continues to expand Netflix’s animated prestige.

This also marks the first Emmy nominations for lead acting nominees Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Stephen Graham, and Cooper Koch, and supporting acting nominees Javier Bardem, Erin Doherty, Tom Segura, Chloë Sevigny, Christine Tremarco, and Ashley Walters underscoring Netflix’s potential to champion both established names and rising talent. At 15, first-time nominee Owen Cooper (Adolescence) is the youngest nominee in the history of the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited/Anthology Series or TV Movie category.

Meanwhile, Maya Rudolph makes Emmy history as the most nominated woman in the Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance category with a total of 6 nominations for Big Mouth (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025).
