Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk to star in time travel rom-com drama Park’s Contract Marriage Story

South Korean actors Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk are confirmed to headline the time travel rom-com drama Park’s Contract Marriage Story, based on a webtoon of the same name. According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, the drama draws out the marriage contract between bachelor Kang Tae Ha and the bold Miss Park.

“In 19th century Joseon, Park Yeon Woo suddenly loses her husband on the first night of their marriage and opens her eyes to find herself in the 21st century where she ends up agreeing to a contractual marriage with the celibate Kang Tae Ha for completely different reasons,” the outlet shares.

On March 21, Lee Se Young’s agency confirmed that she will play the female lead in the drama alongside Bae In Hyuk, who will star as bachelor Kang Tae Ha. Lee Se Young will portray Park Yeon Woo of Joseon Dynasty, who goes through a time jump of 200 years and ends up in South Korea in 2023.

She meets her husband’s doppelganger Kang Tae Ha and she ends up getting married to him under a contract. Park’s Contract Marriage Story is expected to release in the second half of 2023.

The production team shared a comment, “Lee Se Young, who has excellent acting skills, is an actress who perfectly fits the character of Park Yeon Woo in Park’s Contract Marriage Story, which goes back and forth between historical and modern dramas.
