South Korean actor Lee Jae Wook and K-pop group aespa's Karina have found themselves at the centre of swirling dating rumours. Dispatch, notorious for its celebrity relationship exposés, dropped a bombshell on Tuesday, February 27, claiming that the two stars have been romantically involved since meeting at the prestigious Prada fashion show in Milan on January 14 of this year. Now, the agencies of respective stars have confirmed that the celebrities are in a relationship and getting to known each other.
According to Dispatch's report, Lee Jae Wook and Karina hit it off at the renowned fashion event and have been steadily seeing each other since then. The report further details that the couple has been frequently meeting up in Lee’s neighbourhood, presumably to spend quality time together away from the prying eyes of the public and media.
Confirming the news, Lee’s agency CJes Studios said in a statement, as translated by the publication Soompi, “The two are getting to know each other.” The agency added, “Lee Jae Wook is currently filming [a drama], and as this involves his private life, we ask for warm respect to be shown.” Karina’s agency SM Entertainment confirmed, “Karina and Lee Jae Wook are getting to know each other.”
On the work front, Lee Jae Wook, known for his roles in popular dramas like Alchemy Of Souls, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol and More Than Friends, has garnered a considerable fan base with his charming on-screen presence and versatile acting skills. He is gearing up for the release of his upcoming drama The Impossible Heir on February 28 on Disney+ Hotstar.
On the other hand, Karina, a member of SM Entertainment's girl group aespa, has been captivating audiences with her exceptional talent and captivating visuals. The group released their fourth mini album Drama with the title track of the same name on November 10, 2023.
