LE SSERAFIM to have 13 songs in UNFORGIVEN; album exceeds 1.03 million pre-orders within the first week

LE SSERAFIM continue to lay out pieces of information, from a tracklist packed with world-renowned featured artists, three different concept photos with stunning visuals, sophisticated album trailer to track samplers, ahead of their first studio album UNFORGIVEN set to release on May 1. As LE SSERAFIM (KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE) persistently pave their own path to tell stories only they can tell, a career-high record of over 1.03 million pre-orders of UNFORGIVEN within the first week shows not only they are fearless and antifragile, but also unstoppable.

According to the tracklist unveiled today, UNFORGIVEN consists of a total of 13 tracks. Along with the tracks from last year’s EPs, the album includes seven brand-new tracks. As track samplers released this week tease, the new tracks connect organically to convey a unified message of the lead single “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers),” which shares its name with the album itself.

With the support of funk rhythmic guitar riffs by the legendary, iconic guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers on top of the track sampling the main theme song from the film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), the lead single makes a bold statement of LE SSERAFIM’s confidence in standing against the world’s judgment and prejudice.

The eleventh track of the album “Between you, me and the lamppost” also piqued the curiosity of many as the tracklist also revealed all five members of the act contributed to writing the lyrics for the track. HUH YUNJIN is also listed as one of the producers alongside the producer duo 13 and the Korean singer-songwriter JUKJAE.

UNFORGIVEN will be available on all streaming platforms worldwide at 6 PM KST on May 1, 2023.

LE SSERAFIM made their debut with their 1st EP FEARLESS on May 2, 2022 and are making their way to the summit of K-pop as the new queens. FEARLESS debuted No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums chart in a total of 13 countries including Japan, Indonesia and more. As its name—an anagram of ‘IM FEARLESS’—implies, LE SSERAFIM are determined to move forward with unswerving fearlessness in the eyes of the world. The group released their 2nd EP ANTIFRAGILE on October 17, 2022, and made their first entry on Billboard 200 at No. 14.
