Singer-songwriter Lauv returned to Mumbai for the second edition of Lollapalooza India 2024, spearheaded by BookMyShow, after his 2019 gig in India. Lauv had his trademark blend of heartfelt, vulnerable, earworm pop while pushing the envelope with production at the Mumbai show, which had a huge audience waiting to hear him croon some of his hit tracks. He also brought Indian singer Armaan Malik as a surprise guest on stage on Saturday.

In a highly anticipated performance in Mumbai, Lauv delighted his eager audience with a repertoire of hits, including ‘Modern Loneliness’, ‘I Like Me Better,’ ‘Paris In The Rain,’ and ‘All 4 Nothing’. Amidst the musical magic, Lauv expressed his gratitude, repeating 'I love you all' multiple times, creating a genuine connection with the diverse and enthusiastic crowd gathered to witness the unforgettable performance.

The crowd erupted in cheers during ‘I'm So Tired’ as Lauv welcomed surprise guest Armaan Malik, adding an unexpected twist to the evening. The collaboration with Troye Sivan brought an electrifying energy to the stadium, captivating the audience. On Sunday morning, Lauv thanked Armaan for being on stage with him. In a collage Instagram story, he wrote, "Thank u for joining on stage brother. Your talent is unmatched and your vibe is 11/10x."

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama in January 2024 ahead of his performance, Lauv said he distinguishes himself by savouring authenticity and cultivating genuine connections with his audience. Amidst the relentless chase for chart positions and commercial success, Lauv believes in music that speaks to him. “For me, I want to speak more to that [authentic feelings]. But at the same time, I've tried to speak to it in ways that weren't genuine to me. Now I'm going to be much, speaking much more eloquently and, honestly, directly towards the source that I want to be speaking to it. Who knows maybe there'll be some different kinds of hits in there for me.”
