With the anticipation rising, a new preview for the upcoming chaebol drama King The Land starring Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and 2PM’s Lee Junho. The two stars, popular in the K-pop and drama industries, are set to be paired for the very first time. And the new teaser showcases their electric chemistry.

The trope is simple – sunshine girl meets grumpy boy. But, the excitement begins it how they execute it with visual superstars of the country. According to Korean media outlet Soompi, the upcoming romantic comedy is about a chaebol heir named Goo Won who cannot stand fake smiles. He meets Cheon Sa Rang who is always equipped with a bright smile even when she does not want to due to the nature of her profession, and together, the two set out to find happy days in which they can sincerely smile brightly together.

Lee Junho said, “I think Cheon Sa Rang’s love is what becomes the salvation in Gu Won’s life.”

YoonA added, “Gu Won is someone who loves Cheon Sa Rang exactly as she is. Strangely, while Cheon Sa Rang isn’t someone who often shows her inner feelings to other people, she keeps showing her honest self to Gu Won. King The Land refers to a VVIP business lounge, which is a place of dreams for hoteliers. Lee Junho will take on the role of Goo Won, who has everything except for good sense when it comes to dating. Meanwhile, YoonA will be starring as Cheon Sa Rang who lands a job at King Hotel, which gave her the happiest memories when she was young, and she matures while facing all sorts of prejudice and misunderstanding.
