K-pop group NewJeans’ Danielle announced as new brand ambassador for Burberry

Burberry is a high-end fashion house based in London. Established by Thomas Burberry, the fashion brand is an embodiment of high-quality clothing, fragrances, eyewear, cosmetics, and accessories. The company has now grown to become one of the most valuable luxury brands worldwide, famous for its trench coats and signature tartan lining pattern. South Korean girl group NewJeans, who have made the biggest breakout debut in 2022, has been in news since their album arrived as a surprise on HYBE Labels. The group's member Danielle Marsh will be the new face of luxury French fashion brand Burberry. Aged 17, the musician follows in the footsteps of her bandmates Hanni and Hyein, who have signed with Gucci and Louis Vuitton, respectively. The quintet, managed by HYBE-owned subsidiary label ADOR, made the announcement via Instagram.

Danielle is one of Burberry's first brand ambassadors, which is noteworthy given that the fashion business recently announced Daniel Lee as its new Chief Creative Officer. For those who are unaware, NewJeans made their debut in the summer of 2022 and quickly gained popularity with songs like "Attention" and "Hype Boy," which have all received accolades from fans for their distinctive and energising look. Members of NewJeans, who are known for their strongly Y2K-inspired clothing, have been chosen one by one by fashion labels, demonstrating the expanding impact of K-pop on the fashion industry.
