James Cameron’s Avatar franchise returns with its third chapter, Avatar: Fire and Ash, set to release across India on 19 December in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the next chapter of the story, giving audiences a preview of the scale and visuals the film has in store.
Touted as one of the biggest Hollywood releases in India this year, the third instalment of the Avatar franchise aims to take audiences back to the visually stunning world of Pandora.
Avatar: Fire and Ash takes audiences back to Pandora, following a new chapter in the journey of Marine-turned-Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and their family. Directed by James Cameron, the film features a screenplay by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, based on a story by the trio along with Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno. The ensemble cast includes Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, and Kate Winslet.
20th Century Studios India will release Avatar: Fire and Ash on 19th December 2025 in 6 languages, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
