Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin shut down false rumors of divorce by mutual agreement; agencies issue strict warning

South Korea’s power couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have shot down their divorce rumors spread by a YouTuber. The person alleged that the Crash Landing On You stars have filed a divorce by mutual agreement along with other allegedly baseless claims.

As shared by the Korean tabloid Soompi, on March 15, a video was posted on YouTube claiming that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin got a divorce by mutual agreement. The YouTuber also claimed in the video that Hyun Bin gambled abroad, causing Son Ye Jin to suffer financial loss, which led the two to break up.

Hyun Bin’s agency VAST Entertainment shared a statement on March 20 clarifying, “[The YouTuber’s claims are] groundless. It is fake news. We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review.”

Son Ye Jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment commented, “This is obviously fake news. We are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video].”

The Crash Landing On You actors dated for three years before tying the knot in March 2022. The couple first met while starring together in the 2018 movie The Negotiation and then filming their super hit drama Crash Landing on You. In November 2022, the famous couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
