In a major move that could reshape India’s music and entertainment landscape, HYBE has officially announced the launch of its talent discovery initiative, the HYBE India Audition, marking its formal entry into India’s rapidly evolving artist ecosystem.

With this initiative, HYBE globally renowned for creating some of the biggest contemporary music acts, including BTS and global girl group KATSEYE is now turning its focus toward India in search of the next generation of global stars.
The HYBE India Audition is part of the company’s globally successful ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy, which focuses on identifying and nurturing talent across diverse cultural markets. By localising its artist development model for India, HYBE aims to bring its world-class training, production, and storytelling expertise to aspiring Indian artists and the Indian diaspora.
The initiative promises a rare opportunity for selected applicants to enter HYBE’s highly structured and globally acclaimed training ecosystem. Combining creative development, performance training, and global storytelling, the program is designed to groom artists capable of representing India on an international stage.
At its core, the launch reflects HYBE India’s belief in the immense potential of Indian youth. The company envisions building a new generation of artists who can seamlessly blend local authenticity with global appeal thereby redefining India’s presence in the international music space.
The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of a striking launch video and official poster, both of which encapsulate the journey of raw talent evolving into global stardom, culminating in a powerful call for aspirants to step into the spotlight.
The audition process will be conducted through a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation. In-person auditions are set to take place across major cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune, ensuring wide accessibility for participants across the country.
Adding further scale to the initiative, HYBE India has partnered with leading global and national brands such as H&M, Shoppers Stop, Samsung, and Nongshim. Meanwhile, Snapchat and BookMyShow have come on board as media and ticketing partners, respectively.
These collaborations are expected to translate into a series of immersive, integrated experiences from on-ground activations and retail engagements to digital participation making the audition journey more engaging and accessible for young aspirants.
Further details regarding audition timelines, eligibility criteria, and participation guidelines are expected to be announced soon across HYBE India’s official platforms.
With this ambitious initiative, HYBE is not just scouting talent—it is setting the stage for India’s next wave of global music icons.
