Actor Nicholas Galitzine, actress Camila Mendes and director Travis Knight joined fans in singing along to the theme song from the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series during their promotional visit to Brazil for the upcoming live-action film Masters of the Universe. A video of the moment was captured and shared online ahead of the film's India release on June 5, 2026.
The Brazil appearance is part of the international press tour for Masters of the Universe, a live-action adaptation of the Mattel franchise that originated as a toy line in 1982, followed by the animated series in 1983. The film follows Prince Adam, who was sent to Earth as a child and separated from his Sword of Power. After 15 years, he returns to his home planet Eternia to face the villain Skeletor and take on his destiny as He-Man.
Galitzine plays Prince Adam/He-Man and Mendes plays Teela. Jared Leto plays Skeletor, Idris Elba plays Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie plays Evil-Lyn, and Morena Baccarin plays the Sorceress. Kristen Wiig voices the robot warrior Roboto.
Masters of the Universe is directed by Travis Knight from a screenplay by Chris Butler. The film is produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner and DeVon Franklin, under Amazon MGM Studios, Mattel Studios and Escape Artists. Sony Pictures Releasing International is handling international distribution. The film releases in India on June 5 2026 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
