HBO unveils a fiery trailer for Succession final season; watch video

HBO has released the trailer for fourth season of the award-winning drama Succession, which is also going to be the final season for the hit show.

The trailer for the final 10 episodes hints at the Roy children's ultimate showdown with their father Logan. Connor (Alan Ruck), Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) are headed to sabotage their father and acquire his empire and power.

The Roy siblings partner with their greatest foes Stewy Hosseini (Arian Moayed), Sandi Furness (Hope David) and Nan Pierce (Cherry Jones) to carry out their master plan as Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) prepares for a presidential bid against Jeryd Mencken (Justin Kirk).

The official logline reads, “The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete.”

The logline continues, “A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.” Created by Jesse Armstrong, Succession also features J. Smith-Cameron, Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoe Winters and Jeannie Berlin.
