Rock band Foo Fighters are set to make their long-awaited India debut with a two-city tour in January 2027. The concerts, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, will mark the band's first-ever performances in the country after more than three decades of their global music journey.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted group will perform at Bengaluru LIVE in Bengaluru on January 29, followed by a show at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on January 31, 2027. The concerts are being designed as full-day music events featuring multiple international and homegrown acts before the headlining performance by Foo Fighters.
The Bengaluru lineup will feature performances by Pinkshift, Alain Johannes, Die Spitz and The Pretty Reckless, while the Mumbai edition will include Mali, Still In Therapy, Die Spitz and The Pretty Reckless. Organisers have positioned the events as a celebration of contemporary rock music, bringing together artists from different generations and musical styles.
Tickets for both shows will go on general sale at 12 PM IST on June 16, 2026, exclusively through BookMyShow. Formed in 1995, Foo Fighters have become one of the most influential rock bands of the modern era, known for chart-topping hits such as 'Everlong,' 'My Hero,' 'Learn To Fly,' 'All My Life,' 'Times Like These,' 'Best Of You' and 'The Pretender.' The band has won 15 Grammy Awards and earned a reputation for its high-energy live performances across the globe.
The current lineup features Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin. Their India tour comes following the release of their twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy. Expressing his excitement about finally performing in the country, Dave Grohl said, "After 31 years as a band, we can't wait to FINALLY play for our fans in India!! It's taken a few years but we promise it'll be worth the wait. We hope Bengaluru and Mumbai are ready for a couple of very long, very loud nights."
